Bahahah! Excuse me but I’m laughing as I manufacture this workout. You won’t want to miss this one. Be sure to read the WOD first (go ‘head) and then read how this works:
- There are 3 different squats here with 3 different weights. You will have to load your bar according to the RX’d weight or the scaled weight we decide on.
- Between the squats are 15 pull ups. After each set of pull ups you will go back to the bar and unclamp, rip the weight off, reclamp, and squat.
- Fast execution with reloading is key: If you are doing the men’s RX’d weight, you won’t be putting on 45lbs on each side obviously. Load the bar with a 25lbs and two 10lbs on each side. Front squats – rip off the two 10lbs. OHS – rip off the 25lbs, add one 10lbs. Smell me? Femmebots: for RX’d you’ll load one 15lbs. and one 10lbs. on each side. You’ll put the 15lbs on the outside so all you have to do for the front squats is rip that off and now you have 65lbs. Then OHS with just a naked bar. Brilliant.
I promise we won’t squat for the next two days.
